Churn is a credit card optimization tool available as a web application (cardpilot-pi.vercel.app) and a mobile application. Churn helps users identify which credit card to use for various spending categories, track card benefits and churning deadlines, and discover new card opportunities. Churn provides informational tools based on user-provided data and publicly available credit card reward structures. These Terms of Service apply to both the web and mobile applications.
Churn is not a financial advisor, credit counselor, bank, or licensed financial professional. The information, recommendations, simulations, ratings, and calculations provided by Churn — including but not limited to the Card Ratings, Monte Carlo Simulation, Missed Rewards analysis, Annual Fee ROI analysis, and chatbot responses — are for informational and educational purposes only and should not be construed as financial advice. Card terms, interest rates, reward structures, and benefits may change at any time without notice. Always verify current terms directly with the card issuer before making any financial decisions.
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions, including which credit cards to apply for, hold, or cancel. Churn does not guarantee any specific rewards, savings, or outcomes. Credit card applications may affect your credit score. Simulated projections (such as Monte Carlo results) are statistical estimates based on historical patterns and user-provided data, not predictions of future outcomes.
Some recommendations on Churn include affiliate links. Churn may earn a commission when you apply for a credit card through these links, at no additional cost to you. Recommendations are ranked by estimated value to you based on your spending profile, not by commission amount. Affiliate relationships do not influence card rankings or the recommendation algorithm.

Churn maintains a database of credit card reward structures and benefits sourced from publicly available information. While we strive to keep this data current and accurate, we cannot guarantee that all card information is up to date at all times. Card issuers may change terms, reward rates, benefits, or annual fees without notice. Each card entry includes a "last verified" date indicating when the information was last confirmed; data may have changed since that date. Always confirm current terms with the card issuer before making decisions based on information from Churn.
Churn offers a location-based feature that suggests spending categories based on your current location. This feature uses your device's geolocation capabilities and third-party reverse geocoding (OpenStreetMap/Nominatim). Location detection is approximate and may not accurately identify the merchant or category. You should always verify the suggested category before relying on a card recommendation. Churn is not responsible for incorrect card suggestions resulting from inaccurate location detection.
The mobile app may send push notifications about churning deadlines, annual fee dates, and other time-sensitive information. These notifications are informational reminders and should not be the sole basis for financial decisions. Notification timing and delivery depend on your device and network conditions, and Churn cannot guarantee that notifications will be delivered at any specific time. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Churn and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, rewards, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems across both web and mobile platforms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior toward the service.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Churn after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should discontinue use of the service.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the use of Churn shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration authority in the jurisdiction where the service operator is located.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
